Data Deletion Requests
Crowd Says does not currently create user accounts. The app uses anonymous device-linked identifiers to support voting, streaks, feedback, push subscriptions, and basic product analytics.
You can request deletion of data associated with your device or support request by contacting us.
How to request deletion
- Email support@crowdsays.app with the subject Crowd Says data deletion request.
- Tell us whether you used Crowd Says on web, iOS, Android, or multiple devices.
- If you sent feedback or support messages, include the approximate date and the message text or subject so we can locate it.
- If available, include screenshots or details that help us identify the device-linked records you want deleted.
What deletion can include
- Anonymous device-linked vote history and streak/stat records.
- Feedback messages and support metadata connected to your request.
- Push notification subscription records, if any.
- Beta-user or install tracking records tied to the same device-linked identifier.
What may be retained
We may retain limited records when necessary for legal compliance, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, enforcement of our Terms, or backup integrity. Aggregated poll totals may remain because they are not displayed as individual profiles.
Accounts
Crowd Says does not currently offer user accounts, usernames, passwords, or login credentials for end users. If that changes, we will update this page with the appropriate in-app data deletion flow.
Timing
We aim to process verified deletion requests within 30 days unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
