Community Guidelines
Crowd Says is for asking questions, sharing opinions, and seeing what communities think. These guidelines explain what is welcome and what is not.
Be curious, not cruel
Polls should invite opinions, not harassment. Do not use Crowd Says to shame, target, objectify, threaten, or bully people.
Not allowed
- Harassment or bullying: targeted abuse, dogpiling, humiliation, intimidation, or unwanted sexualization.
- Hate or discrimination: attacks or dehumanization based on protected characteristics.
- Threats or violence: threats, incitement, glorification of violence, or instructions to harm.
- Sexual exploitation: sexual content involving minors, non-consensual sexual content, or sexual coercion.
- Private information: doxxing, private contact details, financial information, IDs, or sensitive personal data.
- Illegal or regulated goods: promotion or facilitation of illegal activity, weapons, drugs, or other restricted items.
- Spam and manipulation: fake engagement, vote manipulation, scams, repetitive posts, or deceptive behavior.
- Intellectual property violations: content you do not have the right to use.
- Harmful polls about private individuals: appearance ratings, sexual comparisons, humiliation, or "hot-or-not" style voting on real people.
Sensitive topics
Polls about politics, news, relationships, health, or identity can be allowed when handled respectfully. Content may be limited or removed if it encourages harassment, misinformation, self-harm, discrimination, or real-world harm.
Reporting
If you see content or behavior that violates these guidelines, use in-app report tools where available or contact support@crowdsays.app. Include links, screenshots, poll titles, timestamps, or other details that help us review the issue.
Moderation actions
Depending on the situation, Crowd Says may remove content, reduce visibility, add warnings, restrict features, block abusive behavior, or report serious threats to appropriate authorities.
Appeals
If you believe moderation action was a mistake, contact support@crowdsays.app with relevant details. We may not reverse every decision, but we will review good-faith appeals.
Help keep it useful
Good polls are clear, fair, and respectful. Ask things people can answer honestly. Add context when needed. Avoid framing that pushes people toward harassment or pile-ons.
